The Resume.

How a good resume makes an impact.

You'll never get a second chance to create a first good impression, right?

Then while you are sending out a resume to your desired organization, you want to make sure that you present yourself well.

I started my hunt for an articleship in the month of July with a resume template found on the internet.

Believe me, somehow I managed to get referrals but my resume, and was straight away rejected without even an interview call. Failed to get shortlisted.

Then with tips given by Sanskriti Pandey and with help of my good friend Swati Malagi, I managed to prepare a good resume.

And believe me, with this new resume I managed to get referrals, assessment links, and interview calls from my desired organizations.
Bottom line, my resume got shortlisted.

When I had finally lost hope to get an interview call from big 4s, now with this new resume I applied to only 2 out of 4, cracked both the interviews and had an offer letter in hand within a few weeks from both firms.
The success ratio now was 100%.

So the point here I'm trying to make is, all it takes is one good resume.

I'm not an expert in suggesting how ideal a resume should be, but here are a few hacks-

•Condense your resume in a single page
•Your photo is not necessary
•Give your personal details along with a LinkedIn profile link
•Use simple words and no grammar mistakes, please.
•Preferred font style - Times New Roman
•Preferred font size - 12
•Don't use borders, tables
•Preferred colors - Black and White.

PS:- Views are personal :)
